Stealth vs Thrust According to EurAsiantimes article Russian Jet's produce better thrust and better manoeuvrability due to 3D thrust vectoring. It gives advantage in close combat dogfights while American jet's are stealthy and not easily detected by radars. So American jets always have advantages in BVR (Beyond Visual Range) fights. 3D thrust vectoring What Should be India's foreign policy to counter China Russia's 5th generation Su-57 is one of highly manoeuvrable and best in thrust vectoring. Russia claims Su-57 is more advanced then F-22 and F-35, so it named with sum of both (22+35=57) and very stealthy like American jets.
